A TWG team member will review all digital or physical models for manufacturability based on the requested manufacturing and post processing specifications. TWG will use best intent and effort and may not fully understand all aspects of part details and cannot predict any unseen complexities or recommended changes to the overall manufacturing processes.

Unless separately contacted or discussed, TWG does not perform a full engineering review for potential design-related issues such as mechanical strength, mating surfaces/tolerances, and thin geometries. Any design, processing, or materials recommendations provided by The Wehrmeyer Group should be used as general guidance, and there are no guarantees related to this information.

Without prior written agreement, The Wehrmeyer Group does not warrant the specific use or application of any part(s) manufactured. The intended purpose of the finished product is the sole responsibility of the user. Responsibility to the customer for evaluation to determine the use case and compliance with applicable regulations of products for any use, specifically for uses (including but not limited to medical/dental, food contact, automotive, heavy industry, defense, and consumer products) that are regulated by the US, EU, and other government agencies.

Quotes and Order Confirmation

Machine setup/fixturing and 3D Print orientation as well as other related production settings will be best optimized based on experience and best practices to balance cost, finish, and strength. We ask to be provided with any specific manufacturing requests in the notes section during order confirmation.

The Wehrmeyer Group does not guarantee a specific delivery/completion date. All leads times are estimated based on historical averages and presented in business days. Estimates exclude weekends (Saturday and Sunday) as well as common national holidays including but not limited to New Year’s, July 4th, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

All quotations provided by The Wehrmeyer Group must be thoroughly reviewed by the client for ultimate accuracy. This includes the accuracy of the correct CAD models, quantities, technologies, materials, post-processing’s, and specific manufacturing requests. Once payment is submitted or a purchase order (PO) is supplied, the quotation is considered reviewed and accurate. Any changes or reproduction costs associated with inaccuracy of the original quotation would be the responsibility of the user or purchaser.

Quality Assurance and Control

The Wehrmeyer Group’s quality processes are based on common industry standards that follow:

Mechanical or performance properties may not be guaranteed unless prior agreement is made. Technical data sheets may be provided for the raw materials used; however, the mechanical performance of any part(s) may be specific to the design and/or other factors outside of TWG’s control.

Dimensional accuracy of any specific geometric features may not be guaranteed unless prior agreement is made. Dimensional drawings may be required. Additional fees may apply.

Parts provided by The Wehrmeyer Group will have consistent surface finish that are consistent with common use of the manufacturing technology used.

Overall dimensions are verified to be within the following tolerances:

Selective Laser Sintering (SLS): +/- 0.3% with a lower limit of +/- 0.3mm (+/- 0.01”)

Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM): +/- 0.5% with a lower limit of +/- 0.5mm (+/- 0.02”)

Warranty

Any part found to be non-conforming based on the above standard would be eligible for rework, reproduction, credit, and/or refund of the manufacturing cost associated. Below are the following conditions that must be met for this warranty to apply:

Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) requests related to part quality must be submitted and communicated within 30 days of delivery.

Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) requests related to damage must be submitted within 5 days of delivery.

Manufactured parts must not be modified/altered from their original delivery form.

No visible damage from the product being used.

Any reproduction of product(s) will utilize the same CAD model, technology, raw materials, and post processing’s as the original order.

All non-conformant product(s) must be returned and accompanied by a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) form to be inspected.
